Fees and billing policy
Private Billing: The independent doctors consulting from Bellerive Doctors operate private billing services. This means you will incur an out-of-pocket expense when you see a doctor at this practice. The fee depends on the length and complexity of the consultation. The fee the doctor charges is confirmed by them at the end of your consult.
Cancellation Policy: If you fail to attend an appointment, a $60 cancellation fee will apply. Cancelling an appointment with less than 2 hours’ notice will incur a $50 late cancellation fee.
Payment on the Day: Payment is required on the day of your consult. Otherwise a late payment fee may be applied.
Payment of Rebates: If you have a Savings or Cheque account linked to your bank card, we can process your Medicare claim on our Tyro machine, and Medicare will deposit your rebate into your account immediately. If you do not have a card, or if you pay over the phone, Medicare will deposit your rebate into your nominated account within 24-48 hours.

A Commonwealth concession card-holder
A full time student
A child aged 15 or under
Additional Fees: Some services may include additional fees for procedures and consumables, which help cover the cost of materials and equipment.

Care plans for long-term conditions
A GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (care plan) helps you manage a long-term condition. It has one fee, however long the appointment takes. Subject to Medicare eligibility.

We always recommend getting your prescriptions during your usual appointment. For routine repeats or replacing a lost script, you can request a prescription without an appointment by calling us or through HotDoc.
There's no fee if your doctor declines the request, for example if they need to see you in a consultation first. No Medicare rebate applies. HotDoc may add its own small platform fee for online requests.
